Top 10 ideas - to continue in the JOB (not getting sacked is negative word)

This Article I got it from HR person in my group. i found it to be useful in general, so posting it...:
1. Assess your job skills, education and accomplishments.s your job training current, your skills valuable in today's job market and your performance effective? If your career or job requires regular skills updates or job training, stay on top of it, reports the Scotsman.

2. Keep your skills polished. If your biggest qualification for your job is that you've been doing it for ten years, consider taking a refresher job-training course. Adult education classes or night school is a great way to expand your job skills and broaden your horizons.

3. Know who's looking for staff in your field. What skills, education and job training are employers looking for? If you were unemployed, could you apply for the open positions?

4. Track the latest job market trends. Stay up to date with industry events, changes and news. Read newspapers, journals and trade magazines, and talk to colleagues to improve your performance.

5. Hone your networking skills. Whether you're planning to stay with your employer, looking to negotiate a raise or looking for a new job, keep networking.

6. Update your CV regularly. Add your new responsibilities, changes in job title, professional associations, volunteer work, etc.

7. Take care of yourself. Get plenty of sleep, eat nutritious food and exercise regularly. Deal with mental, emotional, or spiritual issues; don't ignore your problems.

8. Dress professionally. Take pride in your appearance; if you're not into the current fashion, ask your partner or a salesperson to make sure you're well dressed.

9. Practice the basics. Get to work, meetings and workshops on time. Do your job well. If you can't meet deadlines, get support. Be reliable, consistent and trustworthy.

10. Be positive about your long-term career success. Avoid slandering your colleagues or gossiping about your supervisors. Be slow to criticize your clients. And be as positive as possible about your future.

Learning while staying away from your Parents or Sweet Home

Since childhood I stayed with my parents and studied locally (since I was in Grater Mumbai - Metro City), since good schools were available to me (I'm still not sure, how much I utilized that to my benefit?)

During my working life, I was given a posting in City: Ahmedabad, State: Gujarat (India) - Which was 1st incident in my life, where I was staying away from Joint family (Parents and brothers). I was glad at least I took my wife & 2 children with me. So learning while staying away from parents / elders:
- Attend all functions & events (can be funeral / marriage / hospital visits etc..), which are socially required to attend (which was till date done by parents, and till that time I was not much involved)
- Stay close to your nuclear family (because until that time, even If I won't be around, at least some of the family member will be there to take care of them).
- Keep some provision of cash at home/Bank for crisis/unforeseen events (which I used to give it monthly full salary to parents, rather keeping any thing for provisions, they use to keep those provisions).
- More freedom, since there is no elder to watch us (or guide us). But show more responsibilities towards own kids.

When I got my 1st job assignment out of India (Nigeria). Honestly I was feeling homesickness and I came back too after staying for 3 weeks. But bread / butter is necessity for each family. So went back....and got learning like:
- Calling / viewing family is also big moral booster, which can give you doze for some time (depends on each individual) to carry alone-with out any family members. Calling/ Chating is event which is costly affair (depends on which country you are), but again I understood that ">PERSON PAYS MORE FOR HIS/HER PASSION /HOBBY THEN FOR HIS NECESSITY
- Holiday is for completing pending work at home (so called), like cleaning clothes, Ironing clothes, cleaning of house, shopping for household things. Most of the people who are unable to communicate with family will go mad, since nothing more to do as time pass and hence used ti dislikes holidays.
- You will be always anxious to reach back to family members / home as early as possible.
- You will attend all National & Religious activities in your Non-resident Forum, which you have never bothered during your local stay in your home country. You are now refined patriot.
- If you are staying in PG / Guest House then your time table will be ruled by the Owner or your room partner (not by spouse / parents).
- You will not like if your room mate is visiting his / her home town, since you will envy him. But if he / she is coming back then you will appreciate (one reason also includes that he/ she will bring some thing from his home made eatable - which you are missing for many days).
- Other friends, who was never bothered to talk to you, when you were locally available, now since he is also out of family and hence become (pretend to be) your best friend.

In nutshell, I can say that all journey of life is making your reverse relations depending upon how long you are going to be with them (in term of time period), longer the stay, approach is casual (like family members) and Shorter the stay, friendly behavior (May be thinking works here, I may not meet this GUY / GAL, why to take a "PANGA" (fight) with him / her). Only with All mighty this works in positive manner, more the stay, more closeness you will find.

Have a pleasant stay with your family forever. God bless you.

Ramadan Eid, Ganesh Chaturdhi and Michhami Dukdam

It's real auspious day when Ramadan Eid, Ganesh Chaurthi & Michhami Dukdam has arried on the same day.

I wish all my readers best wishes to you and all your beloved one the same. GOD BLESS You.

Ramadan Eid is celebrated after Ramzan month - where all Islam Brothers and Sisters follow fastings. They follow this to take forgiveness in any Sins/ evils done in the past. Any religeous fastings helps person to control his/her senses and teaches the lesson of patience and improves spirituality. Muslims don't drink, eat or indulge in those activities which are prohibited during fastings / religious activities from Dawn to Sun set. After sun set they can have normal life.

"Michhami Dukdam" (forgiveness) is also followed by fasting of 8 days in Jain religion. Jainism request to follow only boil water to drink without any food. After sunset they can't have even boil water. On the day of "Paryushan" (next day after 8 days of all fasting) they asks forgiveness - If by action, mind or speech - if we have hurt you - knowingly or unknowingly then please Michhami Dukdam.

Ganesh Chaturdhi was started by Lokmanya Balgangadhar Tilak, who was by profession a lawyer, but for the coutries freedom, when Britishers where ruling India. He was aware that Britishers are not objecting any religious activities of local people, hence in the name of Ganesh Chaturshi, he wanted all Indians should get united and take a firm steps against Britishers to move them out of India. His plan was fully succeed, becuase till date all across India this festival is celebrated and people gets united and do some cultural / religious activities.

It's said that Ganesh Chaturdhi and Ramadan Eid came on the same day after 1431 years. I'm not sure combination of above three festivals came after how many years. But it's a GOD plan and things are going in perfect direction. Best wishes to all of you.

Dahi - Handi / Janmastmi / Govinda with Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu's thoughts

Wishing you all Happy Janmastmi.

grhe thako, vane thako, sada 'hari' bole' dako, sukhe dukhe bhulo na'ko, vadane hari-nam koro re.

Meaning: whether you are a Grihastha having a profession with a family and children and home, or whether you are a sannyasi traveling, preaching, living in the jungles, if you sincerely chant the holy names, take this medicine of Hari Nam regularly everyday, you will be free form all the happiness and distress of this world and you will be established in the eternal divine joy of Krusna. And then Krusna takes birth within our hearts . And when we chant the holy names we can perform the greatest welfare service to all humanity by allowing the ambrosial sweet sound of Hari Nama to echo through the entire universe. And if we perform this activity with sincere hearts, we are truly celebrating the real Janamashtami of Lord Sri Krusna. We are inviting Him again to appear again in His name into this world. So let us all now celebrate Krusna's Janmastami by loudly chanting the holy name according to direction of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. And say his famous bhajan quotes –

“Hare krusna Hare Krusna Krusna krusna Hare Hare, Hare Ram Hare Ram Ram Ram Hare Hare”.

Happy Pateti - With 10 Tips for successful business

Happy Pateti

10 tips for successful business networking:
1. Always be genuine. People can generally see through a fake exterior.
2. Keep several interesting conversation topics in the back of your mind for awkward pauses. But don’t use them in the middle of conversation.
3. Be clear about your work and why you do it. This will establish you as an expert in your field and a clear-headed individual.
4. You should always know in what ways others can help you out, so that you have ready answer when they ask you for any help.
5. If you meet someone who can benefit from what you do, always take the initiative to call them and offer help.
6. Remember that people have a tendency to find stories interesting. A good way to make a great 1st impression is to have a funny story at hand of how you are in your current line of work.
7. Given unexpected answers to regular questions like “How are you?” – People expect “Fine, thank you”, but give them something a little more interesting words “TOP OF THE WORLD” etc... This will have a conversation starter + memorable 1st impression.
8. Watch you body language. Don’t keep arm crossed (it shows rigidity in acceptance of ideas).
9. Always carry business card with you. We never know when we need that.
10. Always listen to what people are saying, Don’t just pretend to listen. It’s always a good idea to ask a follow-up question, as it tells the other person you are interested in him/her.

Happy Independence Day with Beautiful Notes

Happy Independence Day to you and all your beloved one's

– Bholenath took poison on the request of God & Evil Spirits during “Samudra Manthan” to protect Universe and became “Nilkanth”, Shri Ram along with many citizen done sucide in Saryu river. Jesus has to climb on cross happily due to Judos. Socratis was given poison. Mohammad has to suffer due to their own Kureshi Caravan. Mahavir was tortured by Gosal. Gautam Buddha was harassed by his cousin brother Devdatta. In short all the good people has to go through the pain, jealousy and rivalry but they have never given up and that way they became godly person.

Best wishes for Guru Purnima with Valuable Notes

Dear Friend,

This time I've decided that rather then just wishes, Let me share some good note.

This is what the sastras (Hindu religion) teach. To our superiors, we serve them by hearing submissively from them, and by carrying out their orders. We try to, in a very humble and menial way, assist them in their service to the Lord. That is how we serve our superiors. To those who are equal to us, we serve them by developing very loving friendships. By becoming very intimate with one another. And that intimacy should be based on God’s prayer with consciousness. It is not required to live as a monk in the temple. Everyone receives benefit according to the faith and devotion he gives, whether big or small. Whatever devotion one has, he invests and gets profit. Thus one's capital accrues. Then he reinvests the enhanced capital. In this way one will very soon be Spiritually Rich.To reside within a temple, one should be on the level of bhajana-kriya or anartha-nivrtti. But those living at home can be on any level, higher or lower. And even if one has only a small degree of faith, still that has value and can be reinvested. Therefore the preachers should encourage people to bestow their faith in GOD (whichever GOD you believe in). "O Lord, I have simply wasted my life. Even though I obtained the human form of life, I did not worship GOD. Thus I have knowingly drunk poison." I walk back toward my office, shutting my mind out from everything around me. I want to focus on my spiritual life. A sense of urgency overcomes me. Like a desperate man, I start to take stock of my devotional life. I ask myself: Is my chanting of the holy names good enough? Why am I not getting the real taste for chanting? Why is my chanting done as a routine chore, like any other activity? Why does my soul not cry out for the Lord? Why am I so attached to this humdrum life? The Lord is willing to give us permanent residence in His spiritual abode. I resolve to take devotional service more seriously. As Kali-yuga, the present degraded age, expands, opportunities to chant the names of the Lord will diminish. Let us make the best use of this opportunity and not wait for another life. Who knows what kind of a body or in what situation we will find ourselves in our next life? Better to sacrifice everything in this life, become fully GOD's conscious, and go back home, back to Godhead. You can chant GOD’s name softly for personal meditation or loudly with your family or friends. Both ways work. It’s free. Chanting never costs you money. There are no previous Qualifications needed for chanting. Young or old, anyone can chant—from any race, any religion, or any country of the world. Thanks.

GOD - MOTHER - SAINT

God was aware that he can't reach easily everywhere and every place all the time (not because it is not possible by him - But he was aware that probably Human Being will not trust that - " How come GOD is every where and every place all the time - Because Human being will feel less importance for himself as well as for GOD. This is also because he can't massage his EGO too, that GOD comes only at our place/house etc.), So GOD came out with best idea, he gave MOTHER in every home, who will work on his behalf and give all love and take care of all family members. She will be guide and teacher too. Shri. Rabindranath Thakur Said that People will trust and believe every one that he is such a famous and big personality, but his family members and neighbors will never believe that famous personality, because they have seen them since childhood and his all activities - good and bad. They can't see his good or major side of it, but they will always fall back on lower side. So GOD as given one more substitute of Mother, hence we have so many saints /Paygambar/ masiha / messenger, who are working on behalf of GOD (like GOD / Mother they were also sacrificing entire life for societies upliftment and betterment with out any self motive). But most of us are either believed them when they passed away (not when they were alive) - some are still unfortunate by not trusting them even now. They some times shown ways of life to Human kind by walk the talk / preaches / Books / Messages.

The life of a great saint is itself a miracle. These miraculous works of Saints are not like magic or jugglery. Magic and Jugglery is temporary in nature. The miraculous works of incarnated saints are exceptionally great. These miraculous works transmit permanent influence and wherever it reaches, those locations are beyond the reach of magic or jugglery. Such miraculous works are always in the public interest and philanthropic in nature. All great saints, during his lifetime has performed numerous miracles, sometimes for the mental pleasure and sometimes in the favour of the devotees. The primary aim of their miracles was to eliminate the sufferings of his devotees and to make them happy as well. A magician performs miraculous jugglery and gives deception to the public but great saints by their exceptional miraculous works makes one bow their head.

Quotes from Swami Vivekanand

Before sharing few quotes of Swami Vivekanand, let me tell you that I'm believer and follower of few Hero's (for one or more reasons) (let me add here that I try and see their positive points only, because each Individual has some negative points). Those hero's are (few of them, which are top of Mind - because like Lord Dattatreya, who had 24 guru's each for specific reasons) - Lord Shri Ram; Mahatma Gandhi, Swami Vivekanand, Shri Sai baba; Bhagat Singh; Abraham Lincoln and recent times Amitabh Bachhan; Kapil Dev; Sachin Tendulkar; Warren Buffet; Narayan Murthy; APJ Abdul Kalam Azad etc.. I have shared Gandhiji's famous Bhajan; Bhagat Singh's Peom, so today I got below attached quotes of Swami Vivekanand.

“When I Asked God for Strength
He Gave Me Difficult Situations to Face

When I Asked God for Brain & Brown
He Gave Me Puzzles in Life to Solve

When I Asked God for Happiness
He Showed Me Some Unhappy People

When I Asked God for Wealth
He Showed Me How to Work Hard

When I Asked God for Favors
He Showed Me Opportunities to Work Hard

When I Asked God for Peace
He Showed Me How to Help Others

God Gave Me Nothing I Wanted
He Gave Me Everything I Needed.”
